Kharibari, 20th February: Panitanki police under Kharibari police station arrested a person with brown sugar based on a tip-off. The accused has been identified as Goutam Barman.
According to the information, the police had received reports regarding the illegal trade in the Panitanki area. Accordingly, Panitanki police conducted an operation and recovered 57 grams of brown sugar from the accused. Police are now investigating the entire incident.
