Malda, 30th October: Based on a tip-off, the English Bazar police launched operations at the Malda Gourkanya bus terminus area and arrested a man along with 385 grams of brown sugar. The arrested accused has been identified as Ismail Sheikh (30).
The market value of the recovered brown sugar has been estimated to be around 3 lakh rupees.
The arrested individual was produced before the Malda District Court on Friday.
