Damdim, 21st October: An incident of a car collision with a dumper near Damdim has come to the fore. North Bengal IG DP Singh was injured in the said incident. This morning IG was heading from Siliguri to Alipurduar and was accompanied by SP Traffic (North Bengal) Abdes Pathak in the car.
While on their way to Alipurduar, their car collided with a dumper near Damdim. Due to this, the SP traffic, including the IG, the driver, and the bodyguard were injured in the collision. After the incident, they were rushed to a nursing home located on Sevoke Road, Siliguri.
At present IG DP Singh’s physical condition is stable. At the same time, after getting information about the incident, the police officials reached the nursing home.
