Siliguri, 21st May: North Bengal’s Siliguri is all set to avail the services of a second Vande Bharat Express train. The train will be formally functional after its inauguration on the 25th May, 2023. Meanwhile, today, the trial run was successfully completed as the train left for Guwahati from NJP at 06:10 a.m. in the morning.
Reportedly, during the trial run, other railway officials including the Additional Divisional Railway Manager (ADRM ) of Katihar Division of North Eastern Railway were present at NJP station. Speaking on the occasion, railway officials stated that, after the train gets functional, the tourism sector will get a major boost.
