Siliguri, 18th November: A new super speciality block has been instituted in the North Bengal Medical College and Hospital. State Health Minister Chandrima Bhattacharya virtually inaugurated the Super Specialty Block today. While Sushant Roy, OSD of the State Public Health Department, inaugurated it by lighting the lamp at the North Bengal Medical College.
In this context, Roy said that with due pending work it has not been feasible to start the Super Specialty Block entirely and ensured the work to be completed soon. He further added that this super speciality block will be operational with four OPDs. Apart from the super speciality block, the Hybrid CC unit has also started in the North Bengal Medical College and Hospital.
