No trace of drowned girls at Cooch Behar found even after 5 days, search continues

Cooch Behar, 12th November: There is still no trace of the two teen girls even after five days of their drowning in the Torsha River under Pundibari police station area of Cooch Behar. Today a special team visited the riverside by the administration. 


It is to be noted that Sonali Das (12) and Ritwika Rai (13) were washed away while taking a bath in the Torsha river on November 7 in Takagachh Karisal area. The search for both the missing girls is going on since the day of the incident. However, so far no clue of both has been found. 

On Friday, the people of the area approached the District Magistrate for help. After which today a special team was launched into the river to search for the girls. The special team has been searching for the girls in the river since morning, but nothing has been found so far.
