Siliguri, 28th April: The NJP police arrested two people, Anwar Hussain and Phulchand Ali along with 7 thousand litres of raw spirit.
As per the report, the NJP police, based on a tip-off launched an operation at the toll gate of Fulbari, on Tuesday morning. Following the operation, the police seized a truck loaded along with 7,000 ltr raw spirit.
The arrested accused were produced at the Jalpaiguri court today. An application will be applied to keep the accused in police custody for 07 days. The police have started investigating the entire incident.
