Siliguri, 15th July: The NJP police, on Tuesday, arrested a man on the charges of robbery. The arrested accused has been identified as Bapi Singh.
As per the report, motorcycle of Golam Mostafa, a resident of the Purba Shantala area, was stolen on May 16. Following this, he lodged a complaint at the NJP police station.
Based on the complaint, the police launched an investigation and arrested Bapi Singh from the Fulbari Dhantala area on Tuesday night. The stolen motorcycle was also recovered from his possession.
The arrested was produced before the Jalpaiguri court on Wednesday.
