Siliguri, 17th May: In a productive meeting held today at the conference hall of North Bengal University (NBU), officials from NBU and Siliguri Jalpaiguri Development Authority (SJDA) came together to establish a cooperative partnership. The meeting saw the presence of Vice Chancellor Professor Om Prakash Mishra, SJDA Chairman Saurabh Chakraborty, and other key officials.
Following the meeting, Vice Chancellor Om Prakash Mishra expressed that both parties have mutually agreed to extend support to each other’s initiatives. Under the agreement, SJDA will undertake various developmental projects within North Bengal University, while the university will offer its expertise as an advisor for SJDA’s fieldwork.
Chairman Saurabh Chakraborty further highlighted that several developmental endeavours, including the construction of hostels, will be undertaken at the university in the near future.
