Bagdogra, 29th May: A team of representatives of the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) arrived at Bagdogra airport from Delhi today to investigate the incident of alleged rape and murder of a minor girl in Kaliaganj along with the subsequent death of Mrityunjay Barman in police firing.
Reportedly, the team of NHRC today landed at Bagdogra airport and left for Kaliaganj by road. The three-member representative team including Kalbir Singh, Ratan Sarkar and Arun Tyagi will investigate the incident in Kaliaganj and submit a report based on their findings.
