Muktadhara Foundation takes responsibility to cremate bodies amid pandemic

Siliguri, 28th April: While people are fearing of coming in contact with COVID positive patients, the Muktadhara Foundation has taken the responsibility to cremate corpses amid the COVID-19 second wave.

The Foundation helps those who are financially unstable and are unable to carry out the cremation process. Kaberi Chanda Sarkar, the head of the organization, said that she is associated with various other organizations. However, as she always wanted to work with women, she formed this women’s organization named Muktadhara Foundation.

While many people are afraid to work at such an alarming time, this organization is working on the frontline eradicating all fears. They are determined to continue working in the coming days by overcoming all obstacles. So far, they have cremated more than 200 bodies.
