Model Code of Conduct defied by political flags, banners at Rajganj

Rajganj, 01st March: Despite the Model Code of Conduct coming in effect, the flags and banners of political parties were still spotted in various public places in the Dabgram-Fulbari assembly constituency. Questions are being raised from various quarters regarding this.

It is to be noted, the Model Code of Conduct comes into effect soon after the announcement of election dates. All the political parties and candidates have to follow the model code of conduct. However, openly defying the code banners and flags of all political parties including TMC, BJP, CPM are still being spotted in the aforementioned area.

In this regard, the Pradhan of Fulbari No. 2 Gram Panchayat, Dilip Roy assured that the flags of his party are being removed from government places and he cannot reason the opposition party’s negligence in the matter.
