Siliguri, 21st August: On Monday, Siliguri MLA Shankar Ghosh inaugurated a waiting shed, constructed under the MLA’s Development Fund, for girl students near Sri Guru Vidyamandir School located in Ward No. 46 of the Siliguri Municipal Corporation. During the event, TMC Councilor Dilip Barman of the said ward was also present.
As per reports, the waiting shed was constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 3.42 lakh. In this regard, Sankar Ghosh stated that various works have been planned for the city’s development under the MLA’s fund. He added that the prime focus is to provide services to the citizens through various minor, yet important, initiatives.
