Minister Shashi Panja joins in support of Trinamool Mahila Congress’ 32-hour sit-in protest in Siliguri

Siliguri, 23rd May: The 32-hour sit-in protest called by the Trinamool Mahila Congress in Siliguri targeted against the central government on Monday has entered the 25th hour today. Until now, the protest witnessed the presence of Trinamool Mahila Congress State President, Chandrima Bhattacharya, MP Mala Roy, Sabina Yasmin, State’s Minister for North Bengal Development Department, Arpita Ghosh, and other leaders.


According to reports, State Women and Child Welfare Minister Shashi Panja joined in the protest today. Speaking in this regard, Shashi Panja said that the sit-in demonstration has been undertaken in Siliguri against the Centre for not clearing the outstanding dues of several schemes to be received by the state.
