Rajganj, 29th May: Apart from inspecting Bhorer Alo in Gajaldoba on Saturday, Sabina Yeasmin, the Cabinet Minister of State for Irrigation and Waterways, North Bengal Development, held a meeting with officials of various departments.
Sabina Yeasmin, MLA of Malda Mothabari assembly as well as a minister, said that a lot of work has been done in Bhorer Alo Tourism Hub and more work is yet to be done. Work on pump house is being conducted through Irrigation Department. A lot of work has been done on Gajaldoba Barrage and the Teesta river dam. A meeting was held today with the officials of concerned departments on the whole issue.
Apart from Rajganj MLA Khageshwar Roy, officials of the Irrigation Department, Forest Department, and Tourism Department were present at the meeting.
