Alipurduar, 14th May: In view of the COVID-19 pandemic, the State Tourism Minister held an administrative meeting at Alipurduar Dooars Kanya. MLA Sourav Chakraborty, TMC Alipurduar District President Mridul Goswami, District magistrate Surendra Kumar Meena, and other administrative officials were present during the meeting.
After the meeting, Minister Goutam Deb stated that the Alipurduar district administration, police as well as the health department officials have adopted enough initiatives so far to deal with the pandemic.
“There are 40 quarantine centers in the district and 3 private hotels have also been set up as quarantine centers”, he added.
