Siliguri, 06th November: Sensation prevailed after a speeding mini-truck lost control and overturned last night adjacent to the Eastern Bypass Dhakeswari Mandir. However, no casualties have been reported in the incident.
Reportedly, the vehicle was on its way to Ambari from Ashighar, during which, it lost control in the aforementioned area and overturned. After the incident, locals rushed to rescue the driver, who was allegedly intoxicated.
Meanwhile, the Ashighar outpost police reached the spot after receiving the news. However, the driver managed to escape the scene. The police recovered the vehicle and took it to the Ashighar outpost.
