Kharibari, 19th September: Members of the BJP Kisan Morcha’s Raniganj Binnabari Mandal handed over a memorandum to the Adhikari station master demanding various facilities at the station under Siliguri-Aluabari Railway.
Various demands including the construction of a footbridge in Adhikari station, stoppage of Intercity Express and Balurghat Express, arrangement of trains for Kolkata and Delhi, construction of new platforms were raised through the memorandum.
BJP National Council member Ganesh Chandra Debnath, district secretary Dilip Baroi, Kisan Morcha district president Swapan Barman, Kisan Morcha Mandal president Sanjay Kumar Mandal and other activists were present at the programme.
