Medica North Bengal Clinic and CUWS holds COVID-19 vaccination camp, over 2988 people vaccinated

Siliguri, 08th June: A three-day COVID vaccination camp organized by Medica North Bengal Clinic jointly with Chandmoni Uttorayon Welfare Society (CUWS) at Birla Divya Jyoti School. More than 2988 people were vaccinated with the Covishield Vaccine.


The camp was inaugurated by SMC Administrator Goutam Deb, Dr P. D. Bhutia, Saransh Sinha (GM – Operations) Medica North Bengal clinic and members of the executive committee of CUWS.

The vaccination programme was organized from 4th to 6th June, with the mission to vaccinate the people of CUWS without the need to go to the hospital to take their shot. People of Uttorayon society were happy to receive the vaccine at their doorstep and they praised the hospital for this commendable job.


Medica’s GM Saransh Sinha stated, “We successfully vaccinated near about 3000 people and we are happy for this. We are continuing this work with other areas of Siliguri.” Reportedly, the service will be provided in both Medica North Bengal Clinic and Medica Cancer Hospital.
