Mayor visits SMC Ward No. 34 after receiving complaint in ‘Mayor ke Bolo’ program

Siliguri, 16th October: During the “Mayor Ke Bolo” program, complaints about the poor drainage system and cleanliness problems in Ward No. 34 of Siliguri was brought to the fore. Acting promptly, Siliguri Mayor Goutam Deb took stock of the said area today.


 

As per the information, on Saturday, residents of Deshapriya Sarni and Satsang Road under Ward No. 34 of Siliguri Municipal Corporation complained about the drainage system and lack of cleanliness in the area. 


 

During this, the Mayor promised to take swift action and inspect the said area at the earliest. Hence, the Mayor reached the said ward this morning along with Mayor-Council Dulal Dutta, the local councillor and health department officials. The area of ​​Deshapriya Sarni and Satsang Road was cleaned and disinfected with anti-dengue spray, and bleaching.

 

During Goutam Deb’s visit, he said that he inspected the area and learned about the problems and further assured to resolve the said problems.
