Siliguri, 30th March: The NJP’s Gatebazar is all set to get a new road. It is to be noted that, the Mayor of Siliguri, Goutam Deb had contested the election from Ward No. 33 and promised developmental works in the ward.
As promised, the work of 950 meter CC road has commenced in NJP’s Gatebazar. Mayor of Siliguri Goutam Deb inaugurated the said road today. During this, Deputy Mayor Ranjan Sarkar, Mayor-Council Manik Dey, Kamal Aggarwal, Shobha Subba, Ranjan Sheel Sharma, Jayant Roy, and other dignitaries were present.
Mayor Goutam Deb said that the Siliguri Municipal Corporation has decided to renovate all the market roads in the city. The work of many has been completed. Along with this, a toilet is also being constructed in Gatebazar with the funds of SJDA which will soon be completed.
