Siliguri, 23rd November: The horrific fire incident in Khudiram Colony has not just affected houses but also the student’s education as their books and education materials were all burnt into ashes. Most of the children are students of Siliguri Boys High School. In view of this, the school administration extended a helping hand to them.
Reportedly, ten students from Siliguri Boys High School lost all their school materials in the said fire. Today along with the cooperation of school administration Mayor Goutam Deb handed the students with books, school bags, and uniforms. Arrangements have also been made for the mid-day meal for all the students in the school.
School headmaster Utpal Dutta said that two teachers and one MC member of the school also provided some financial grants to the students.
