Siliguri, 03rd February: Mayor Goutam Deb took a stock of Siliguri’s Ward No. 36 acting promptly on a complaint made by a councillor. The Mayor was accompanied by Borough Chairperson Pritikana Biswas and Ward Councilor Ranjan Sil Sharma.
It is to be noted, that in the last board meeting, Ranjan Sil Sharma complained to the mayor about several problems in the ward. Based on the said complaint, the Mayor arrived today to take stock of the area and also to set up a new “Maa canteen” in the said ward.
Mayor Goutam Deb said that “Maa Canteen” will be set up in Shantinagar market. Along with this, new drains will also be made in the said ward. Efforts will be made to solve the problem soon regarding the engineer.
