Siliguri, 21st March: The police of Matigara police station have arrested three thieves in a case of burglary. The arrested accused have been identified as Biswajit Haldar, Rocky Roy, and Srinando Sarkar.
Reportedly, a woman named Reena Mandal runs a tea shop and lives in a rented house at Khaprail More. Meanwhile, her house in the Ramnagar area remains vacant. She used to go in between and visit her house and return to her rented house. After a month, when she went home on Sunday and was shocked to discover her household goods such as the television, fridge, and sofa were missing. After this, a written complaint of theft was lodged by Reena at the Matigara police station.
Based on the complaint registered, the police of Matigara police station started the investigation and in 24 hours, three individuals were arrested on the charges of theft. Police also recovered the said stolen goods. Today all three were presented in Siliguri court.
