Siliguri, 13th March: The undercover cops of Matigara police station of Siliguri Metropolitan Police cracked a case of theft within 24 hours. Apart from arresting the thief, the police also recovered the stolen goods.
The accused has been identified as Sanjay Mandal, a resident of Matigara. According to police sources, the incident of theft took place in Alam Enterprise in the early hours of Sunday. Based on the complaint lodged at the station, the police launched an investigation and arrested one of the accused within 24 hours and recovered the stolen goods. He was produced in the Siliguri court today.
