Cooch Behar, 06th January: Allegations have been raised against a son for murdering his father in the Bhogramkuthi area of Mathabhanga-1 block. The individual has also been accused of attempting to kill his girlfriend. The injured girl is currently undergoing treatment at a nursing home in Siliguri.
It has been alleged that Tinku Barman murdered his father, Sanjiv Barman, due to a family feud, yesterday. Tinku also attempted to kill his girlfriend. She has been admitted to a nursing home in Siliguri in a horrifying condition.
Upon receiving the news of the incident, the Mathabhanga Police reached the spot and arrested Tinku Barman, this morning. The Police are currently investigating the incident.
