Cooch Behar, 30th July: The Mathabhanga police, based on a tip-off, launched operations and arrested two persons with firearms, on Friday morning. The arrested accused have been identified as Abdul Moni and Mujibul Haque. They are residents of the Saat Gram area in Kurshamari gram panchayat under Mathabhanga No. 01 block.
A local pistol and four cartridges were recovered from their possession. They were sent to court today.
