Hamiltonganj, 03rd December: Sensation prevailed after the skeletal remains of a man was found in the Buxa Tiger Reserve forest. The incident surfaced from the forest under the Hamiltonganj Range of Kalchini Block.
According to reports, on Sunday, during patrolling forest personnel spotted the skeleton and promptly alerted the police. Upon receiving the news, the police arrived at the spot and recovered the remains. However, the identity of the deceased and the cause of the death were yet to be ascertained.
Preliminary investigation by the police indicates that the person may have been a victim of a wild animal attack and had lost his life one and a half to two months ago. The skeletal remains will be transported for a post-mortem examination.
