Jaigaon, 30th January: Sensation spread in the area after a body of a person was recovered from Jaigaon bus terminus on the Bhutan border. The deceased has been identified as Shankar Das.
Reportedly, the staff of the bus terminus saw the dead body of the said person on Monday morning. After this, they informed the Jaigaon police. As soon as the news was received, the police reached the spot and recovered the body.
However the police suspects his death was caused due to falling from the second floor of the bus terminus. Residents and relatives of the area told that Shankar was a tire businessman and was an alcoholic. Police is probing the entire incident after sending the dead body for postmortem.
