Jalpaiguri, 13th April: A tragic incident came to light from Jalpaiguri, where the body of a young man was found hanging from a noose days before his marriage. The deceased has been identified as Vijay Chaudhary, a resident of Raiganj. However, he was residing in a rented house in Mohanta Para area under Ward No. 17 of Jalpaiguri for work.
Reportedly, Vijay Chaudhary’s marriage was to be held on April 18, for which all preparations had been completed. Meanwhile, the door of Vijay’s house was closed on Saturday morning. Despite repeated alerts, he did not respond, which prompted the locals to inform the Kotwali police.
Upon receiving the news, the police arrived at the spot, opened the door and spotted Vijay’s lifeless hanging body inside the house. Subsequently, the cops of Jalpaiguri Kotwali police station recovered the body and sent it for a post-mortem examination. Currently, the police are engaged in a detailed investigation of the entire incident.
