Malbazar, 08th February: Gorkha Janmukti Morcha President Bimal Gurung met the mourning family of the rape-murder victim at Manabari Tea Garden in Dooars today.
Gurung strongly condemned the incident and extended his support to the family. He offered khada on the minor’s portrait and paid his respect. The GJM leader demanded perpetrators of the heinous murder are given the harshest punishment and the victim’s family should get proper justice.
It is to recall, 17-year-old Ginni Bishwakarma of Manabari Tea Garden under Dooars’ Mal subdivision, went missing on January 25. Her dead body was tragically found on January 29 at Odlabari Railway Station.
