Fulbari, 24th July: A man was killed in a tragic road accident while on his way to visit his ailing daughter, casting a pall of gloom over the Chobabhita area of Fulbari.
The deceased has been identified as Tukro Mohammad, a resident of Chobabhita in Fulbari. According to sources, he left for his daughter’s house on Thursday night after learning that she was unwell.
During the journey, he was allegedly hit by a goods vehicle in the Fulbari area. Local residents rescued him and rushed him to the North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH), where doctors declared him dead.
The tragic incident has left the family and local residents in mourning, as Tukro Mohammad died before he could reach his daughter’s home.
Police have started an investigation into the incident.
