Dhupguri, 29th November: Sensation prevailed after the lifeless body of a man was found hanging in Dhupguri’s Gadheyarkuthi Gram Panchayat Parkumlai village. The deceased has been identified as Gopal Roy (34).
Reportedly, the incident occurred following an alleged dispute at Roy’s house.
On Sunday morning, Dhupguri police recovered the body and sent it to Jalpaiguri Sadar Hospital for an autopsy. Police have started an investigation into the incident.
