Phansidewa, 25th November: Sensation ensued after the dead body of a man was found hanging from the noose. The said incident surfaced from the Paka Line area of Bijlimani Tea Garden located in Bidhan Nagar under Phansidewa block.
The deceased has been identified as Anil Kuju who used to live in his in-laws’ house. According to family sources, the deceased was mentally ill.
Reportedly, on Friday morning the relatives found the dead body of their son-in-law hanging inside the house. After this, they informed the police. Shortly after getting the news of the incident, the police of Bidhan Nagar Investigation Center reached the spot and recovered the body, and sent it to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital for postmortem.
