Siliguri, 29th October: A man has been arrested for possessing a significant amount of illegal firecrackers. The accused has been identified as Abhijit Roy.
According to reports, the Siliguri police received a tip-off about a person with a large quantity of firecrackers in front of the Milanpally Sukanta Sporting Club. Later, the police conducted a raid and apprehended the suspect.
Police sources revealed that the accused was intending to sell the firecrackers. On Tuesday, the accused was presented in Siliguri Court while the police are currently investigating the matter.
