Alipurduar, 16th March: Sensation prevailed after a house was allegedly set on fire over a land dispute. The incident occurred in the North Parokata area under Parokata Gram Panchayat of Alipurduar-2 block.
It was reported that a fire broke out in the residence of Anil Bhowmik, a resident of the said area on Monday. It has been alleged that his neighbor is involved in the incident. The fire completely destroyed the kitchen of the house.
Meanwhile, a fire engine arrived at the scene and extinguished the fire. The police have launched an investigation into the incident.
