Siliguri, 12th March: Kailash Vijayvargiya, national general secretary of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the party’s central observer for West Bengal, arrived in Siliguri this morning to campaign for the upcoming elections.
Addressing the media at the Bagdogra airport, Vijayvargiya criticized the Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee for falsely accusing the people of Nandigram of manhandling her. He claimed that the people of Nandigram are disappointed and will respond to these allegations on the polling day.
The BJP secretary further stated that the fear of losing supremacy in all of West Bengal is compelling Mamata Banarjee to make a political issue out of her injury.
