Naxalbari, 21st March: Trinamool Congress supremo Mamata Banerjee is set to campaign in Naxalbari in support of the party’s candidate ahead of the upcoming assembly elections. Preparations for the public meeting, scheduled for March 24, have already begun.
The rally will be held at the ground of Nand Prasad Balika Vidyalaya in Naxalbari under the Matigara-Naxalbari assembly constituency. A helipad is also being set up at the venue.
On Saturday, the rally ground was inspected by the Siliguri Police Commissioner, officials of the Darjeeling district police, along with party leaders to review the arrangements.
