Siliguri, 06th March: The Trinamool Congress (TMC) has launched an extensive wall-writing campaign for the announcement of the list of candidates for Lok Sabha elections. On Wednesday, Siliguri Mayor Gautam Deb officially inaugurated the campaign in Pradhan Nagar and Hakim Para.
In this regard, Mayor Gautam Deb stated that the list of the names of candidates for the elections will be announced soon. He added that the wall-writing program would be completed in 47 wards of Siliguri and Jalpaiguri Lok Sabha constituencies under Dabgram-Fulbari within seven days of the upcoming week.
Furthermore, he stated that winning the Darjeeling and Jalpaiguri Lok Sabha constituencies this year would represent a significant tribute to TMC supremo Mamata Banerjee.
