Alipurduar, 09th February: Another full-grown leopard has been trapped in a cage at a tea garden in the Dooars region.
On Sunday morning, a leopard was found trapped in a cage in section 14 of Atiabari Tea Garden in Kalchini block.
Local residents, upon spotting the trapped leopard, immediately informed the Forest Department. In response, forest officials from the Buxa Tiger Reserve’s Nimti Range arrived at the site and rescued the animal.
