Jalpaiguri, 25th April: Sensation prevailed after the carcass of a leopard was recovered from the Rangdhamali area in Jalpaiguri.
On Sunday morning, the workers sighted the carcass of an adult leopard lying in a tea garden situated in the Belakoba Range Rangdhamali area. The incident was reported to the forest department. Following this, the forest workers of the Bodaganj beat office reached the spot, recovered the carcass, and brought it to the office.
The cause of the leopard’s death has not yet been determined.
