Alipurduar, 27th March: A leopard got trapped in the cage installed by the forest department. This incident took place in Dalgaon Tea Estate under Falakata block on Thursday morning.
As per reports, while working in the tea garden today, the workers saw a leopard trapped in the cage.
Subsequently, the forest department was informed about the incident. As soon as the news was received, the forest personnel of Dalgaon Range reached the spot and rescued the leopard.
It is to be noted that a few days ago, a leopard had injured a tea worker, after which a cage was installed in the garden.
On Thursday, the tea workers got relief after the leopard got trapped in the cage.
