Leftist leader Sujan Chakraborty campaigned for Sanjukta Morcha in Siliguri

Siliguri, 12th April: Leftist leader Comrade Sujan Chakraborty arrived in Siliguri to campaign for Sanjukta Morcha. He accompanied Sankar Malakar in the Matigara-Naxalbari assembly constituency.

After arriving in Siliguri, he took a jibe at Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah, stating that they look like panchayat poll candidates as they are wandering in West Bengal all day long.

He also condemned the Sitalkuchi incident. He said that while the state government is saying ‘Khela hobe’, the central government is actually playing the game. Voting is a celebration of democracy, but these two governments are turning it into ‘Rokter Holi’ (Holi of blood).

Chakraborty appealed to the Election Commission to take immediate action against them. He further said that there is no alternative to Sanjukta Morcha.
