Siliguri, 15th January: The All India Lawyers Union (Darjeeling District) staged a protest at the Siliguri District Court in support of multiple demands.
The association staged a protest demanding the construction of a new building at the Siliguri court, resumption of normal proceedings in the court and repeal of the centre’s farm bill.
On behalf of the organization, lawyer Divakar Roy said that their demonstration programme is being held in different districts today.
