Kharibari, 08th March: Based on a tip-off, the jawans of the 41st Batallion of SSB Battalion launched an operation near the Asian Highway of Hatighisa and recovered 2444 kg of betel-nuts from a pick-up van. One person has been arrested in the incident.
The estimated market value of the recovered betel nuts is Rs 3,78,820. The seized pickup van and the betel-nuts were handed over to the Panitanki Customs.
