Siliguri, 09th March: A total of nine people, including firefighters, RPF, and police officers, lost their lives in a devastating fire break out at the Eastern Railway office in Kolkata’s Strand Road, on Monday.
CREDAI North Bengal stepped forward and extended a helping hand to the family of the deceased individuals. A total of 5 lakh rupees will be handed over to the mourning families.
During a press conference on Tuesday, Naresh Agarwal, president of CREDAI North Bengal, stated that if the death toll rises further, more help will be provided. He further urged other organizations to stand by the families.
