Kharibari, 09th February: Based on a tip-off, the Kharibari police launched operations at Panitanki and arrested a youth along with a huge cache of intoxicant injections. The arrested accused has been identified as Shafiq Alam, a resident of Bihar.
The police seized 125 pieces of Lupijesic injection, 125 pieces of Fenergun injection as well as injection syringes from his possession.
According to police sources, the intoxicants were intended to be smuggled to different states. The Kharibari police have launched an investigation into the incident.
