Kalchini, 16th May: The entire country is suffering due to the second wave of the pandemic. Strict restrictions have been imposed across the state from today. The local administration is also taking various initiatives to deal with the pandemic.
On Sunday, various areas of Kalchini were sanitized under the initiative of Bishal Lama, MLA of Kalchini in Alipurduar district. Various market areas and shops of Kalchini were sanitized and awareness was raised among the general public. Lama also distributed masks among the people.
On the other hand, Alipurduar Bazar was sanitized under the initiative of Alipurduar MLA Suman Kanjilal. He said, “We are working to sanitize Alipurduar Bazar every day.”
