Siliguri, 20th January: The Kalamjote area under Matigara-I Gram Panchayat has been under the grip of a leopard attack. According to sources, the locals suspected the presence of a leopard in the forest of the area, on Sunday. The people of the area have been terrorized since the incident.
The Forest Department has been informed about the incident. On Monday, the forest officials inspected the area. A cage has also been set up in the area by the Forest Department.
