JP Nadda likely to take over Amit Shah as BJP president

New Delhi, 20th January: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Working President, Jagat Prakash Nadda, is likely to be elected unopposed as the new National President of the party.


According to reports, polling will take place on Tuesday, if required. He will succeed Amit Shah who has been heading party since August 2014. The top leaders from across India gathered at the BJP office, this morning, where his name was formally proposed for the New Chief.
